.DISCUSSION...
After good relative humidity recoveries overnight, values are
expected to quickly drop into 40-50 percent range during the day
today. The humidity will recover well tonight and remain elevated
through the weekend. Winds will likely be light and downsloping
for the early morning, before becoming northwesterly and gusting
in the 10-20 mph range during the day. Winds likely go downsloping
tonight, before gusting in the 20-30 mph range on Saturday.
However, widespread showers and storms will occur Saturday, and
precipitation amounts between 0.75-1.25 inches are expected by
Saturday night. There may be a brief dry slot Saturday morning
before wetting precip arrives and after the winds increase.
Lightning is likely with the storms on Saturday, but it will be
accompanied by heavy rain.
