.DISCUSSION...
Light winds and dry weather will prevail today as high pressure
remains across the region. High cloud cover will increase through
the day, but no precipitation is expected. Winds will be light and
terrain driven, though trending east to southeast at 5 kt or
less. Although relative humidity values will start at more than 90
percent early this morning, efficient daytime mixing will bring
them down to around 40 percent this afternoon. Tonight will once
again feature good humidity recovery back to 90 percent or more.
Isolated to widely scattered showers are possible Tuesday
afternoon, along with a few rumbles of thunder. Any showers will
be hit or miss however, and rainfall amounts a tenth of an inch or
less.
