.DISCUSSION...
...Dry Tonight, Then Wetting Rain, and Gusty Winds Wednesday...
Dry weather will continue into tonight, with clouds building. A
widespread wetting rain is expected Wednesday into early Thursday,
with totals generally between 0.15 to 0.75 inches and some higher
totals likely along the spine of the Greens and Adirondacks.
Strong southerly to southwesterly winds will develop on Wednesday,
with gusts generally in the 25-35 mph range, locally higher,
especially on summits. Winds will remain elevated Thursday to
20-30 MPH in the north-south oriented valleys. Clouds clear with
cooler conditions by Friday.
