.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the
afternoon and evening. Associated winds will be strong, reaching
gusts up to 25-30 mph, with parts of the Adirondacks potentially
reaching up to 40 mph. Winds will be southwesterly during the day,
however, following a front this evening, they will switch to
northwesterly for the overnight period and into tomorrow. Hot and
humid conditions will continue today with RH values up to 100% by
tonight, but will fall to 40-50% for tomorrow afternoon. More
seasonable temperatures and humidity values are expected through
the weekend, with the next chance of precipitation Saturday night.
