...Dry Weather Continues Through the Holiday Weekend...
.DISCUSSION...
After a couple of days of fairly widespread rains, dry weather
returns for Sunday and Labor Day. Rainfall over the past 24 hours
has generally ranged from a tenth to as much as two-thirds of an
inch, though portions of Windsor and Rutland Counties only
reported a few hundredths. Winds will be light over the next
couple of days, and minimum relative humidities will fall to 35 to
45 percent both afternoons. Scattered rain showers are possible
Tuesday afternoon, mainly over the higher terrain, but our next
chance of more widespread rainfall arrives late next week.
