.DISCUSSION...
A building area of high pressure will result in plenty of sunshine
and cool temperatures today. The strongest winds will be across
Vermont this morning with north winds 10 to 15 mph with localized
gusts 15 to 25 mph possible, but decreasing 5 to 15 mph by early
afternoon. Humidity values will range from the 32% to 42% range,
while temperatures are only in the upper 40s to upper 50s. Friday
will feature plenty of sunshine, warmer temperatures and lower
humidity. Minimum humidity values will range in the 25 to 35% range,
but winds will switch to the south at 5 to 10 mph with localized gusts
up to 15 mph over northern New York. The next chance of rain arrives
late Sunday into Monday, with highest probability of precipitation
over central and southern Vermont.
