.DISCUSSION...
Persistent dry conditions will continue with the region under high
pressure through Thursday. Afternoon minimum RH will generally
range 30-40% with winds remaining light and overnight recoveries
being good. Conditions change as a mostly dry cold front passes
through the region Thursday night. A few locations could see a
sprinkle, but meaningful precipitation is not expected.
Minimum RH behind the front on Saturday will be around 30% with
gusts generally 15 to 20 mph outside of the Champlain Valley. In
the Champlain Valley and on exposed mid slopes, gusts up to 25 mph
are possible. RH falls further Saturday into the 20-30% range, but
winds will decrease as well as high pressure moves back over
northern New York and Vermont.
