...High Pressure Brings Cool Temperatures and Dry Conditions...
.DISCUSSION...
High pressure continues to build over northern New York and
Vermont bringing a period of dry conditions that will last through
much of the weekend. Minimum humidities will decrease Friday with
30-40% becoming widespread for the afternoon while winds generally
range 5 to 15 mph. Overnight recoveries will remain good. Winds
are expected to begin increasing Sunday ahead of widespread rain
chances late Sunday into Monday. This could bring a period of
concern Sunday afternoon across portions of southern Vermont for
gusts exceeding 20 mph, especially across higher terrain and
exposed slopes.
