.DISCUSSION...
Lingering dry air today will lead to RHs falling back into the
25-40% range this morning. Critical RH values may briefly overlap
southerly winds exceeding 25 MPH in portions of the Champlain
Valley in Vermont around midday. Scattered showers will moves
across the region during the afternoon to begin a wetter period.
Rainfall amounts will widely vary, although a wetting rain is
expected across at least northern portions of the area. Then a
cold front will move through Saturday afternoon/evening, leading
to a return to sub 30% RH values and fairly widespread 25 MPH and
greater wind gusts Sunday afternoon.
