...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED ON SUNDAY...

* AFFECTED AREA: Inland Cameron, Inland Willacy, Hidalgo, Starr,
  Coastal Cameron, Coastal Willacy, Coastal Kenedy, Cameron
  Island, Willacy Island, and Kenedy Island.

* TIMING: From 9 AM until 9 PM.

* 20 FOOT WIND: North to northeast, 10-20 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY: Ranging from 25 to 50 percent.

* FUELS: Critically to extremely dry, especially fine fuels.

* IMPACTS: Weather conditions will be favorable for erratic
wildfire growth and spread.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Outdoor activities that could inadvertently cause wildfires are
discouraged. Avoid parking vehicles or using welding or grinding
equipment near dry grass, brush, and weeds. Do not toss cigarette
butts on the ground.

Be sure to report wildfires quickly to the nearest fire
department or law enforcement office.
