Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Favorable conditions prevail through at least Thursday
with gentle to moderate southeasterly flow and slight seas. There
is a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms over the waters
each day through Thursday, and afternoon heating may lead to
temporary Small Craft Exercise Caution conditions on the Laguna
Madre and nearshore waters each afternoon. An influx of tropical
moisture expected as a tropical wave tracks towards the area by
Friday, increasing seas to 2-4 feet and bringing a low to
moderate chance (30-50%) of rain Friday and Saturday.
