Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ100-120630- 103 PM CDT Thu Sep 11 2025 .SYNOPSIS... A weak pressure gradient over the western Gulf will keep light to moderate winds and low seas in place throughout the forecast period. A prolonged period of sustained easterly winds over the next several days could result in rougher surf at area beaches with a slightly increased risk of rip currents. Tonight`s rip current risk is low, but tomorrow`s rip current risk is expected to increase to moderate.
