Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Favorable wind and sea conditions will prevail
through this evening. A cold front will move through the Lower
Texas Coastal waters late tonight, resulting in strong northerly
winds. Building seas will develop in the wake of the front, and
Small Craft Advisories may be needed. Hazardous marine conditions
will prevail on Thursday. Marine conditions will briefly improve
Friday before becoming adverse again during the weekend as a
second front passes through the area Saturday night.
