.SYNOPSIS...High pressure stretching from the Ohio River Valley
to Texas will interact with a broad area of low pressure across
the southern Gulf of Mexico to support weak to moderate northeast
flow across the lower Texas coastal waters into the weekend, with
moderate seas. Showers and thunderstorms will increase in
coverage and intensity today into the weekend as deep moisture and
the low pressure area approaches from the east. Northeast flow
will slowly strengthen and seas will build by early next week as
the overall gradient increases between the high pressure and low
pressure areas.
