.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1114 AM CST Tue Nov 11 2025

Warm and dry conditions are expected through the forecast period.
High pressure sliding east has allowed southeasterly winds to
return to the region with temperatures warming through the week.
While today highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s, tomorrow
temperatures will be back above normal in the mid to upper 80s.
Temperatures will continue to climb with 90s returning to much of
the region by this weekend. Temperatures cool only by a few
degrees through early next week, with temperatures in the upper
80s north and east and low 90s across the upper Valley and Rio
Grande Plains. Overnight lows in the mid 50s to low 60s tonight
will be back into the 60s and 70s by Saturday.

A cold front will approach Deep South Texas late this weekend, and
latest guidance does not have this front moving through the region
but stalling just northwest of the CWA on Monday before washing
out. This front will have little to no impact across the CWA.

A moderate risk of rip currents returns for Wednesday and moderate
to high for this weekend.

Issued at 1114 AM CST Tue Nov 11 2025

An enhanced pressure gradient has prompted Small Craft Advisories
for the nearshore Gulf waters and northern offshore Gulf waters this
evening into the overnight. Small Craft will need to exercise
caution on all waters today and tonight on the Laguna and
offshore southern waters. Conditions will improve Wednesday
morning before the pressure gradient begins to increase again late
Thursday. By Friday afternoon/evening, Small Craft Advisories may
be needed on the Laguna Madre and Gulf waters through midday
Saturday before conditions begin to improve. There is a low chance of
showers and thunderstorms on the Gulf Saturday and Sunday.
