Massachusetts Bay and Ipswich Bay...
At 416 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
over Revere, moving east at 30 knots.
Locations impacted include...
Eastern Point Ma, Boston Harbor, Beverly Harbor, Boston Buoy 44013,
Boston Light, Mass Bay Buoy 44029, Thatcher Island, Marblehead Neck,
Broad Sound, Quincy Harbor, The Coastal Waters East Of Boston Harbor,
and Minot Light.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...briefly rough seas and
lightning strikes. Consider heading for safe harbor until this storm
passes.
Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
