.DISCUSSION...
Overcast conditions continue near the Freetown prescribed burn
site early this morning, along with continued northwesterly winds
gusting to around 20 mph. Although some limited peeks of sun
could take place thru mid morning, we`ll be trending toward
overcast skies with winds becoming north this afternoon and to
the northeast by late afternoon. Unseasonably cool temperatures
today with highs in the middle to upper 50s, which will keep
relative humidities on the higher end at around 55-60 percent.
Good ventilation should still take place, although mixing depths
will be on the shallow side. Modest transport of smoke towards the
south and southwest is also anticipated as winds come around from
the north and northeast.
