.DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid weather continues into Monday for the start of the
work week. While much of the day will feature dry weather...A few
showers and thunderstorms are possible late Monday afternoon and
evening with the greatest risk across interior southern New
England.
Winds on Monday will be from the southwest at 8-16 mph...but with
a period of sea breezes expected on portions of the immediate
coast. Minimum afternoon relative humidity values will generally
bottom out between 40 and 50 percent...but a bit higher across
the outer-Cape and Nantucket.
.OUTLOOK...Tuesday through next weekend...
Mainly dry weather with seasonably warm temperatures are on tap
for Tuesday and Wednesday...But with less humidity than on
Monday. A cold front will cross the region on Thursday with the
risk for a few passing showers and thunderstorms. This will be
followed by dry and pleasant weather Friday into next weekend
with very comfortable humidity.
