Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
409 PM EDT Sun Aug 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...

A prolong stretch of dry weather ahead as high pressure dominates
the forecast period. During this time fairly light winds and at
times hazy conditions due to wild fire smoke from Canada.

Minimum values of relative humidity on Monday are 35 to
45 percent with the exception of the Cape and islands where
values are near 50 and 60 percent. Tuesday values increase,
widespread minimums are between 50 and 65 percent.

.OUTLOOK...Wednesday through Saturday...

Summer warmth and dry conditions continues Wednesday through the
start of the upcoming weekend.
