Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure continues to dominate the weather pattern over
Southern New England. Well above normal temperatures Sunday and
Monday.

Minimum relative humidities fall to around and around 45 to
60 percent Sunday. On Monday, min relative humidities fall into
the 35- 45 percent range with the exception of the immediate
south coast and Cape and Islands staying in the 50-60 percent
range. Slightly stronger winds on Monday with SW winds 5-12 mph
with occasional gusts up to 20 mph.

.OUTLOOK...Monday through Saturday...

Above normal temperatures again Tuesday with higher moisture
keeping min relative humidities 45-55 percent and closer to
60-70 percent for the Cape. Breezy SW winds gusting to around
20-25 mph. A welcomed rainfall is anticipated for Wednesday.
Cooler and drier Thursday and Friday.
