Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
409 PM EDT Sat Jul 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...

There is an increasing risk of scattered showers and
thunderstorms late tonight into Sunday morning. Another round is
expected Sunday afternoon and evening with an approaching cold
front before we clear out heading into Monday. Cooler, less humid
air and gusty NW winds will move in following the front for
Monday.

Minimum relative humidity values tomorrow will be 55 to
80 percent, with the higher values across RI, western CT, and
towards the Cape and Islands. On Monday, minimum relative
humidities decrease to 35 to 55 percent.

.OUTLOOK...Monday Night through Saturday...

Cooler and less humid weather moves in with high pressure to
start the week with below normal temperatures. A warming trend
kicks in around the middle of next week, bringing back heat and
increased humidity for Thursday and especially Friday. Chances
for showers and thunderstorms return Friday into Saturday.
