.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible through
this afternoon and evening as a cold front sweeps through. Areal
coverage of the activity will be limited with much of the region
remaining dry.
Southwest winds will gust between 20 and 25 mph today and perhaps
up to 30 mph towards the Cape and Islands. Minimum relative
humidity values will drop to between 55 and 75 percent.
A cooler and drier airmass moves into place behind the cold front
later tonight and will provide drier conditions Thursday. Min RH
values are expected to drop to 30 - 40 percent across the
interior and 40 - 60 percent along the coasts and Cape/Islands.
.OUTLOOK...Friday through Wednesday...
Mainly dry and pleasant weather through Sunday, with seasonable
temperatures and comfortable humidity levels. Increasing humidity
and unsettled weather may return during the first half of next
week.
