Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
408 PM EDT Tue Jul 21 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Showers and scattered thunderstorms develop Tuesday afternoon
from west to east and continue Tuesday night. These storms may
bring an isolated severe weather risk in the form of localized
damaging wind gusts. In addition...localized flash flooding is
possible too, especially if any thunderstorms track over a
vulnerable urban center. Another round of showers and
thunderstorms Wednesday, however, areal coverage will not be as
widespread or severe as Tuesday.

Minimum relatively humidity Tuesday afternoon will range from
50 to 60 percent, then 60 to 70 percent Wednesday afternoon.

.OUTLOOK...Thursday through Sunday...

Mainly dry and pleasant weather follows Thursday into the
upcoming weekend, with seasonable temperatures and comfortable
humidity levels.
