...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeastern Massachusetts, including the
  following area, Southern Bristol MA and Rhode Island, including
  the following areas, Block Island RI, Bristol RI, Eastern Kent RI,
  Newport RI, Northwest Providence RI, Southeast Providence RI,
  Washington RI and Western Kent RI.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Periods of heavy rain are expected at times through this
    morning. Heavy rain will be most likely through this
    afternoon. Widespread additional rainfall amounts of 1-3
    inches are expected. However, narrow bands of torrential
    rainfall may result in localized amounts of 2-4 inches of
    rain
