VFR through at least midday Sunday. As expected, an area of very
low clouds/fog has developed north of DEN across Weld County. The
drainage winds continue to be 10-14 kts out of the south, which
will keep the fog/low clouds to the north as long as they
continue. They will weaken a little after 14Z, allowing the
fog/low clouds to begin sloshing southward towards BJC and DEN.
However, the Latest high resolution models have trended towards
keeping the fog/low clouds in Weld County. The time it gets
closest to DEN or BJC is 14-16Z. At this point it`s probably a
10% chance or less of getting to BJC or DEN. APA has zero chance
of fog this morning. The fog/clouds will dissipate by 16-17Z
regardless of where they are.
ESE winds should pick up after 19Z at 10-15 kts across the
terminals, continue into the early evening hours before they
weaken, and turn to the south with drainage flow after 03Z. The
drainage flow looks pretty robust at DEN and APA, expecting 10-15
kts at DEN, and up to 10 kts at APA. BJC should have light winds
all night.
Later Sunday afternoon rain chances increase, as do the chances
for CIGS to drop into the MVFR category.

Patchy low clouds and fog were noted over the greater southeast
Colorado region early this AM. Most widespread area of low
clouds/br were in the KPUB vicinity. Patchy clouds/fog will
linger in the area through early/mid morning then dissipate.
Afterwards, expect VFR and light winds for the 3 taf sites,
KPUB, KALS and KCOS for the remainder of the fcst period.

begin to dissipate as the sun rises. Some potential for

to locally dense fog will last through 17Z. Patchy vicinity fog
nearby has resulted in LIFR to MVFR conditions. VFR conditions
will prevail, but any fog that settles at the airfield will be
capable of lowering conditions from VFR. Light southeast winds
will transition to light northwest around 17Z with largely clear
conditions.
.REST OF UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING...MVFR ceilings will prevail
through the TAF period at KLGU. Low clouds and patchy to locally
dense fog capable of lowering conditions into LIFR to MVFR range
will last through 17Z for southwest Wyoming and northern Utah.
Light winds will last through the TAF period with mostly clear
conditions after 17Z. Scattered to broken clouds in VFR range are
likely for southern Utah. Winds will range from east to northeast,
with gusts around 20 knots for far southern Utah.

light wind regime, enhanced by the wet ground from recent
rainfall and saturated boundary layer. Low confidence of how
limited visibility will impact each airport over the next 4-5
hours, so amendments are likely. Any fog will dissipate by
16z Sat, followed by VFR/SKC for the remainder of this TAF
period. A weak pressure gradient will result in light winds,
less than 10 kts, through the period.

VFR conditions are expected throughout the 12Z TAF period for
KGUY/KDHT, with IFR conditions to start the TAF period for KAMA.
Low vsbys accompanied by patchy FG at times being reported to
start for the TAF period at KAMA. Low cigs and patchy FG are
expected through about 14-16Z for KAMA, before conditions return
to VFR levels, and should continue throughout the remainder of the
12Z TAF period. Overall winds will start light and variable,
becoming more southwesterly at 5-10 kts for the second half of the
TAF period.

SCT to BKN mid-level clouds will move across the airspace from
south to northwest overnight. A weak boundary across northeast NM
is pushing southeast across the rest of eastern NM. Low clouds
will develop across much of northeast and east central NM in it`s
wake early Saturday morning. This will result in some IFR to
potentially as low as Airport Minimum conditions for sites across
this area, including KLVS and KTCC. Some patchy fog cannot be
ruled out as well. Have included a TEMPO at KTCC but did not have
enough confidence to include it for KLVS. Low clouds look to
remain in the vicinity but not directly impact KROW around sunrise
Saturday at this time. Low clouds across northeast and east
central NM look to break up during the late morning hours with two
areas of SCT to BKN mid to high level clouds moving into western
and central NM and far southeast NM during the afternoon. Heading
into the evening hours, southeast winds increase across western
NM along with a strengthening east gap wind at KABQ. Gusts of
around 25 kts will be possible at KABQ right at the end of the TAF
period. The leading edge of rain and mountain snow showers moves
into far southwest NM along with lowering VFR ceilings in western
NM, including KFMN and KGUP, at the end of the period.
