KCOS and KPUB...A strong cool front will move across the two taf
sites later this afternoon/early evening, crossing KCOS around
22 UTC and KPUB around 00 UTC. Showers and thunderstorms are
expected to develop after the front goes by. Some of the storms
could be strong. Later tonight, MVFR/IFR conditions will be
possible as moist upslope develops, mainly form 09 UTC to 15
UTC. VFR thereafter.

IFR/LIFR conditions that have persisted at KJAC this morning
are finally giving way to improving weather. KWRL should see an
improvement to VFR conditions by mid-afternoon Sunday.
Meanwhile, low pressure over Natrona County will allow for low-
end VFR and occasional MVFR conditions through Sunday
afternoon. Otherwise, other terminals to be VFR with the
southwest terminals seeing generally only scattered cloud cover.
The low spins slowly eastward today, finally reaching the
eastern Wyoming border around midnight. Scattered showers and a
few thunderstorms rotate southward on the backside of the low,
providing for PROB30 convective showers later Sunday afternoon
and early evening. KCPR has the best chance of seeing prevailing
light rain as the low slowly pinwheels east. Mid-cloud decks
persist east of the Continental Divide through the evening with
gradually rising ceilings and dissipating cloud cover late
tonight. Given what occurred at KJAC Sunday morning, have
included TEMPO for at least MVFR fog Monday morning given
continued moist boundary layer in the western valleys. Surface
wind 10-20kts occurs at KCPR Sunday afternoon on the backside of
the low, while most other terminals see speeds less than 12kts.
Foothills frequently obscured until 20Z/Sunday with occasional
mountain top obscurations through 06Z/Monday. Occasional
foothill obscurations in the western valleys after 10Z/Monday.

The upper level low is pretty much over Casper right now. This
low is slowly pushing east but as this thing rotates expect on
and off showers through the Panhandle through 04z for KCDR and
00z for everyone else. However, for the Southeast Wyoming
terminals showers are going to be pretty much done by 19z with a
brief shower possible until 21z just to account for any stray
pop up shower that forms and dies as the low is also rotating.
Also if didnt predict this as well, winds will also be variable
around 10kts with the afternoon gust after this low departs our
area. Some low stratus may also develop again for the Panhandle
at around 12-15z tomorrow morning but should really start to
burnoff by the afternoon.

Isolated to scattered showers will continue across the region this
afternoon and into the overnight hours especially across northern
Nebraska. Expect visibility restrictions down to 3 miles as times in
rain showers. Some isolated thunderstorms could develop across
southwest Nebraska by late afternoon, but confidence remains low and
therefore have been omitted from the prevailing forecast at this
time. Any impacts from these storms should only affect KLBF.
Increased moisture and calm winds overnight will provide a favorable
environment for patchy fog early Monday morning across much of the
region. Visibility restrictions down to 1 mile or less are possible

Low clouds will gradually lift through the afternoon at KGLD and
KMCK, with MVFR ceilings through about mid afternoon, with
perhaps a few hours of VFR at both locations by late afternoon.
Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms may impact KGLD this
evening with brief gusty winds and reduced visibility in rain.
The low ceilings will quickly return this evening and persist
through the rest of the night, before gradually lifting Monday
morning. Patchy fog will develop as well.

low level stratus continues to lift/scatter out this afternoon.
Otherwise, widespread VFR conditions will persist through late evening.
Thunderstorms are forecast to develop across eastern Colorado later
this evening, then spread southeastward into west central Kansas
and portions of southwest Kansas overnight, potentially affecting
the vicinity of KGCK, KLBL, and KDDC generally after 05-07Z. Light
east-northeast winds are expected to persist through much of the
period as a broad surface high transitions east through the Great
Lakes Region.

forecast shifts to potential shower and thunderstorm activity
alongside MVFR conditions due to low ceilings. While chances for

the most likely TAF site to be impacted by rainfall, which could
lead to IFR conditions. Otherwise, low level clouds are expected
to impact all sites this morning and may not clear out until after
18Z Monday.
