VFR conditions expected through the TAF period. Light winds will
turn drainage by 05/06Z and then turn more W/NW mid-morning.
Chances for thunderstorms increase by 21Z (more 22Z/23Z for DIA
and APA) with the possibility of strong VRB outflows gusting up
to 35 kts at times. There is a chance that storms could stay north
and south of DIA tomorrow, but even then gusty outflows remain
possible. Storms will move out of the area around 01Z/02Z and
winds should return to drainage.

KALS: VFR conditions expected through 24 hours. Some showers may
drift off of the mountain between now and 9pm or so, but currently
no impacts are expected at the terminal. Will monitor for outflow or
needed updates due to storm interactions. Winds lighten overnight,
becoming a bit more breezy and southwesterly Sunday afternoon.
KCOS and KPUB: Showers and storms will move through the area of both
terminals. KCOS already has storms nearby, which should move through
between 00-02Z. Will monitor for any leftover showers thereafter,
but that should be it for anything strong. Some gusty outflow will
be possible along with rainfall. KPUB will see passing showers and
storms later on in the evening, with a lower chance of precipitation
at the terminal. Left as PROB30 for now given the scattered nature
of showers. Nearby showers will end by about 05Z, with light winds
overnight turning westerly in the morning. Another round of showers
and thunderstorms is expected late tomorrow afternoon into the
evening, near both KCOS and KPUB.

Isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms have
developed mainly over the higher terrain along and south of
I-70. Impacts from these showers have been minimal, but should
any shower or storm pass over a terminal, gusty and erratic
outflow winds and lightning will be the main concerns.
Currently, KDRO stands the highest chance (>50%) to be impacted
by a shower and thunderstorm over the next 2 hours. Activity
will dissipate after 02-03z, with skies clearing and winds
becoming light and terrain driven. Look for similar conditions
tomorrow afternoon, but with even lower storm coverage. VFR
conditions are expected to prevail for the next 24 hours.

.REST OF UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING...Clear conditions with light
winds will last into Sunday for southwest Wyoming and much of
Utah. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms through
roughly 03Z for southern Utah will be capable of gusty, erratic
outflow winds. Clouds will increase from south to north Sunday,
with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms again capable
of gusty, erratic outflow winds. Showers and thunderstorms will
start in southern and western portions of Utah around 18Z Sunday
and track into northern Utah from 00-03Z Monday.

VFR conditions continue to prevail across most of western and
north central Nebraska through the effective TAF period. Smoke
from Canadian wildfires are expected to bring some slight
visibility impacts across portions of north central Nebraska
this evening and overnight, which may bring MVFR visibility
conditions, mainly at the KVTN terminal and east. Winds
gradually calm over the next several hours as a low level
inversion develops, with winds being light and variable
overnight. Winds then take on a southerly direction in the
morning through tomorrow evening.

Smoke aloft from Canadian wildfires continues mainly for KMCK,
although some may trickle near the KGLD terminal, leading to
hazy skies but ceilings are forecast to remain VFR and no
visibility reductions due to the smoke has been seen via
upstream observations. Winds are forecast to lighten this
evening and continue overnight as they become more westerly and
then finally more southerly around 18Z Sunday with some gusts
around 20 knots through afternoon primarily for KGLD.

An upper level trough will cross Kansas early tonight. Ahead of
this upper wave there is 20-30% chance of showers and possibly
a rumble of thunder early this evening but the chance for any of
these storms to be near a TAF site in southwest Kansas is <10%.
Cloud bases ahead of this upper trough early tonight will be
between 6000 and 10000 feet AGL. Overnight winds will be less
than 10 knots from the north northeast, gradually veering to the
east southeast and increasing to 10 to 15 knots during Sunday.

Observations across northern and central New Mexico indicate VFR
(Visual Flight Rules) conditions, but some haze with visibility
greater than 6SM is still being observed. There is low confidence
on the reintroduction of lower visibility in smoke and haze
across portions of the Rio Grande valley tonight, as it will
depend on wildfire smoke production in Old Mexico. Currently, no
large smoke plumes are evident on satellite imagery to our south.
Showers and thunderstorms have and will continue to struggle to
develop west of the central mountain chain through the early
evening with isolated storms surviving into the east central
plains where gusty downburst winds, small hail, and brief
downpours will occur through mid evening. On Sunday, storms will
redevelop in similar areas with the Sangre de Cristos and
northeastern highlands/plains supporting scattered coverage with
fewer storms off of the south central mountains (Sacramentos).
