Aside from a few showers and thunderstorms over the San Juans,
conditions are quiet with just some passing mid and high level
clouds. Convection will taper off over the next 2-3 hours, with
a generally quiet and clear night expected. Another round of
light showers or thunderstorms is possible over the San Juans
tomorrow afternoon, but otherwise quiet weather prevails. Winds
will be light and follow typical terrain driven patterns. VFR
conditions prevail.

as a ridge axis remains to the west of Wyoming. In general, wind
speeds will be 8kts or less. Monday afternoon sees a bit better
chance of cumulus across the northwest mountains. A late day
shower or two is possible, but no terminals will be impacted.

VFR conditions will continue through this afternoon into the evening
hours under a FEW higher clouds to SKC for all terminals. Winds will
remain breezy over the next few hours, generally in the 10-20 kt
range. Overnight, low clouds may build in once again for some of the
eastern terminals, KCDR/KAIA/KBFF, bringing MVFR or lower conditions
alongside patchy fog, but the remaining sites should remain clear
with generally light winds. Precipitation chances are at a minimum,
however a few showers may pass near KSNY and KCDR, but should remain
northeast of both sites. Any patchy fog that develops overnight
should clear up in the morning with winds picking up again by noon,
in the 10-20 knot range.

VFR conditions are expected at KGLD for the majority of the
night before fog and stratus impact the terminal and drop it
down into MVFR to IFR status for a couple hours near sunrise.
The current VFR conditions at KMCK will begin to deteriorate
much sooner (~5Z-6Z) as the fog and stratus push in, with
ceilings and visibilities dropping down into LIFR to even VLIFR
status by ~8Z. By ~17-18Z tomorrow, conditions will improve once
again to VFR.
Otherwise, KGLD is expected to see some northerly wind gusts up
to 18-20kts during the afternoon and early evening hours
tomorrow.

Storms across the highlands of central and southwest NM will
continue moving east and south, respectively, during the evening
hours slowly tapering off after sunset. Storms could impact KTCC
and KROW right around sunset, if they survive far enough east.
Outflow from storms across the central mountain chain have already
brought a gusty east canyon winds to KABQ and this will persist
through the late evening hours. Midlevel clouds will taper off
from north to south overnight with light winds. Another crop of
scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across the higher
terrain early Monday afternoon slowly and erratically moving into
nearby lower elevations during the mid to late afternoon hours.
Storms will provide similar aviation hazards to today. Storms
across the Sandia and Manzano Mountains look to help develop
another gusty east canyon wind for KABQ right at the end of the
TAF period.
