The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Sedgwick County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 459 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  9 miles north of Haxtun to over Venango, or along a line from 23
  miles northwest of Holyoke to 16 miles west of Grant, moving north
  at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
           Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also
           likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Julesburg, Ovid, Sedgwick, Sixteen-Mile Corner and Marks Butte.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and dangerous hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek
shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT Sunday for a
portion of northeast Colorado.
