The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Logan County in northeastern Colorado...
  Northeastern Morgan County in northeastern Colorado...
  North Central Washington County in northeastern Colorado...
  Eastern Weld County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 700 PM MDT.

* At 619 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles east of
  Antelope Springs, or 15 miles northeast of Fort Morgan, moving
  east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
           Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also
           likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Hail
           may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous travel.

* Locations impacted include...
  Merino, Hillrose, Willard, Snyder, Prewitt Reservoir, Messex and
  Union.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and dangerous hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
