The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Jefferson County in central Colorado...
  Northeastern Park County in central Colorado...
  Northwestern Douglas County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 530 PM MDT.

* At 454 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Conifer, or
  26 miles southwest of Denver, moving south at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
  Pine Grove, Conifer, Buffalo Creek, Aspen Park, Pine Junction,
  South Platte, Shaffers Crossing and Foxton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
