...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT BOULDER...SOUTHWESTERN
BROOMFIELD AND NORTHERN JEFFERSON COUNTIES UNTIL 545 PM MDT...

At 500 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Eldorado Springs, or 21 miles northwest of Denver, moving south at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous
         travel.

Locations impacted include...
  Arvada, southwestern Westminster, Wheat Ridge, Golden, White Ranch
  Open Space, Rocky Flats, Eldorado Springs, Mountain View, Marshall
  and Crescent Village.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Heavy rain is occurring with this storm and may lead to flooding. Do
