...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN LOGAN AND EASTERN WELD
COUNTIES UNTIL 615 PM MDT...

At 527 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles south of Westplains, or 20 miles northwest of Sterling, moving
east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Sterling, Peetz, North Sterling Reservoir, Logan Corners,
  Westplains and Padroni.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
