...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL ELBERT AND
SOUTHEASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES UNTIL 245 PM MDT...

At 215 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Greenland, or 37 miles south of Denver, moving east at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Eastern Castle Rock, Elbert, Elizabeth, Ponderosa Park and
  Castlewood Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
