PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Unsheltered people will have a high risk of frostbite and hypothermia. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Livestock and pets will be vulnerable to the cold, so ensure adequate sheltering during this extended period of cold weather.
