.DISCUSSION...
Isolated showers and thunderstorms are present around the area
this evening. As of 8:50pm, a storm was about 10 miles to the
southwest, moving north/northeast. While this storm could produce
lightning in a 5 to 10 mile radius, it is not expected to move
directly over the SAR site. Additional shower development will be
possible near or over the area over the next hour or two, but
coverage will remain limited and chances for lightning directly
over the site will remain low (<20%). Winds are currently light
and variable, however nearby showers could produce sudden wind
shifts with gusts around 15 to 30mph. Once the showers move out of
the area in an hour or two, winds will generally be from the
west/northwest around 5 to 10mph. Temperatures are currently in
the upper 70s, dropping overnight into the upper 60s.
