.DISCUSSION... Current observations in the area show winds are
light and variable this morning, with relative humidities ranging
between 65-75%. Temperatures are in the mid to upper 50s at this
time, and expected to warm into the upper 70s to low 80s this
afternoon. Winds should hold on to a S to SE component through the
afternoon and evening before turning to the west to NW tonight.
Could see some gusts between 15-20 mph with peak heating this
afternoon, but wind gusts should generally remain below 15 mph.
Relative humidities are expected to drop down around 20% for the
afternoon today.
A cold front is expected to slide south across the plains late
tonight/early Wednesday morning. Strongest winds are expected
across the plains, but expect a northerly wind shift with
gusts around 20-25 mph sometime between midnight and 0400 tonight.
