Scattered afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms are possible today. A few of the storms may become severe with gusty outflows and larger hail possible. LaSalle is right on the gradient of where the stronger storms are anticipated to strengthen, so there is about a 50/50 chance they remain below the severe thresholds for your area, but gusty winds between 30-50mph and lightning will be a threat either way. Conditions are expected to stabilize quickly after sunset, with a chance for a few wind shifts due to outflows from storms to the east, but generally light SE winds should take hold by 9 PM. .REST OF TODAY...
