.DISCUSSION...Today will be mild and dry with a high in the mid
50s. A mountain wave cloud will persist throughout the majority of
the day which will limit mixing of the air in the low levels. As
a result, there will be light winds and poor smoke dispersal
today.
Saturday will be similar to today with mild temperatures, dry
conditions, and high level clouds. However, winds will begin to
increase substantially and gust may reach 35 mph during the
afternoon. The mild and breezy conditions should create a few
hours of fair smoke dispersal for burning.
