Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon
mainly across the plains with some areas receving heavy rain.
Across the higher terrain, showers and thunderstorm activity
will be more widely scattered. Temperatures will be slightlt
above normal.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday through Saturday...
Afternoon thunderstorms will be possible again on Wednesday with a
warming and drying trend expected from Thursday into the weekend.
Increasing elevated fire weather conditions may develop as the
warmer and drier weather persists into the weekend, though with
greenup well underway and multiple chances for precip through mid-
week, any developing fire weather concerns will likely remain
limited and localized.
