.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Saturday...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will remain in the forecast
tonight and Saturday, along with cooler temperatures and higher
humidity levels in most areas. The greatest jump in humidity and
best chance of wetting rains will occur along and east of the
Front Range mountains. Temperatures will be about 10-12 degrees
below normal east of the Front Range, but remain closer to normal
over Jackson and Grand Counties where humidity values will still
be low during the afternoon hours.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday night through Wednesday...
A cooler and wetter weather pattern will remain through this
entire period. The highest chances of showers and storms (most
with wetting rains) will occur over the entire forecast area
Monday. Mountain and high valley areas will see high chances of
rain each day Tuesday through Wednesday, while chances decrease
eastward across the plains. Temperatures will be well below
normal, especially Monday and Tuesday.
