.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Wednesday...Very windy conditions
develop over the mountains and foothills late tonight with gusts
up to 65 mph. Gusty west winds spread east across urban corridor
and eastern plains with gusts to around 45 mph during the day
Wednesday. This will result in good or better smoke dispersal for
most of the area on Wednesday.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday...Winds will
decrease Wednesday night, leading to poor smoke conditions. There
will be a chance of snow each night in the mountains, with snow
likely Friday night and Saturday. Fair to excellent smoke
dispersal conditions are expected each day through Sunday in the
early afternoon hours. Strong winds with gusts up to 60 mph are
possible on Friday for the highest elevations. Critical fire
weather conditions are not expected.
