.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Saturday...Winds will diminish this
evening, then south winds will develop on the plains on Saturday.
Temperatures and humidities on Saturday will be similar to
today`s. Scattered thunderstorms are expected over the mountains,
with a slight chance of storms spreading onto the plains by late
afternoon.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday night through Wednesday...
On Sunday, it will be drier and windier again from I-70 south,
with more uncertainty about whether it will be wetter or drier in
the north based on the track of a low pressure system. Near
critical conditions are possible in the south, while thunderstorms
with wetting rain are possible in the north later in the day.
Monday and Tuesday will be breezy and cooler with higher humidities
and a higher chance of precipitation, then drier and warmer
conditions are expected later in the week.
