.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...
Cooler temperatures and higher humidity can be expected in all
areas along and east of the Front Range Mountains today. West of
the Front Range, conditions will be similar to those observed
yesterday. Scattered showers and a few storms will occur today
and tonight, mainly over the mountains. Only isolated showers
will drift onto the plains at times.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday through Saturday...
No critical fire weather conditions are expected through the
entire period. Temperatures will warm briefly for Wednesday, but
humidity readings will only drop slightly and winds should be
relatively light in all but the far eastern plains. Shower and
storm coverage will begin to increase Wednesday, with a further
increase Thursday with numerous showers and scattered storms with
wetting rains. Temperatures will settle back to or just shy of
normal, with relatively high humidity readings lasting through
most of the latter portions of the week. Scattered showers and a
few storms can be expected each day.
