.DISCUSSION...Rest of today through Saturday...
Near record heat today will cool a few degrees for Saturday as
monsoonal increases across the forecast area. Isolated showers and
storms with gusty outflow winds into this evening will come to an
end, but then more numerous showers and storms with scattered
wetting rains can be expected Saturday afternoon and evening.
Humidity readings will show an improvement over today, despite
above normal temperatures before storm initiation Saturday
afternoon.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday night through Wednesday...
Temperatures will still average a few degrees above normal despite
slight cooling Sunday to Wednesday. Moisture levels will decrease
slightly, but sufficient instability will still be present for
scattered afternoon and evening storms most days, some with
wetting rains. Humidity readings will hold above 20% for minimums
each day. No significant winds are expected outside of
thunderstorms.
