.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Thursday...
Scattered to numerous wetting rains with locally heavy rain this
afternoon and evening. Any shower could produce gusty winds and
lightning. Temperatures will remain above normal this afternoon.
Shower and thunderstorm coverage will further increase a bit for
Thursday across the entire forecast area. Scattered to numerous
wetting rains can be expected and locally heavy rain will be
possible Thursday afternoon and evening. Slightly cooler weather
for Thursday with improved humidity readings.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Thursday night through Monday...
Friday and Saturday will turn drier again especially across the
plains. Isolated wetting rain and RH of 30-40% are expected for
Friday across the high country with a non-zero but very low chance
for wetting rain on Saturday and Sunday afternoons/evenings. The
plains will likely stay dry after Thursday evening. Temperatures
will resume a warming trend to above normal readings with high
temperatures in the upper 90s to near 100 across the plains on
Saturday through Monday.
