.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...Above normal temperatures are
expected again today, with highs in the low to mid 90s across the
plains. Isolated to scattered showers/thunderstorms are expected
this afternoon, mainly across the I-70 mountain corridor and into
Park County. Relative humidity should generally around 20-30%
across the forecast area, with easterly surface winds.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday through Monday...Little change is
expected in the forecast pattern through this weekend, with
temperatures remaining above normal through at least Sunday.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible each day across
the higher elevations, with dry weather expected over the plains.
Better monsoon moisture is expected to reach the region by early
next week, leading to better chances of wetting rain across the
higher elevations and most of the urban corridor.
