.DISCUSSION...Tonight through Tuesday...We will see gusty north
to northeast winds late this afternoon and more so this evening
across northeast Colorado as a cold front pushes south through
eastern Colorado. Gusts to 40 mph will be possible as the front
pushes through. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are also
expected through this evening. Gusty winds and light rain is
expected from these showers and storms.
Daily afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are expected
over the mountains and foothills Friday through Sunday. A few of the
showers may move east of the higher, mainly on Sunday. Temperatures
will be near to slightly below normal with Friday being the coolest
day.
Drier and warmer conditions are expected for next week. However,
there may be enough moisture for isolated/scattered showers and
thunderstorms with the best chances being over the higher terrain.
