.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...Widespread showers and
thunderstorms are forecast across the mountains during the day
today, with scattered showers and storms across the lower
elevations. There are good chances (40-60%) of wetting rainfall
across most of the high country north of I-70. Minimum humidity
should remain above 20% across the plains and generally will
remain near or above 40% over the higher elevations. Smoke
dispersal will generally be good this afternoon.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday through Thursday...Another round of
showers and thunderstorms is likely on Monday. An increase in
moisture will keep daytime humidity values above 30%. A gradual
warming and drying trend is expected from Tuesday through
Thursday. Both wind and relative humidity are expected to remain
below critical thresholds.
