.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...
It will dry across the area today with warmer temperatures. Smoke
dispersal will be poor in most areas. Tonight, there will be a
chance of light snow over the far northern mountains after
midnight. Gusty winds will occur over the mountains.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday through Tuesday...Light to
moderate mountain snow is expected this weekend, with the heaviest
snow falling across the Park Range. Gusty winds are expected
across most of the higher elevations with a few gusts to 60-70 mph
over the higher Front Range mountains. Across the plains, mild and
dry weather is expected this weekend into early next week. Well
above normal temperatures are possible on Monday and Tuesday. Fair
to very good smoke dispersal is forecast across the higher
elevations each day with poor dispersal elsewhere.
