.DISCUSSION...Rest of today through Saturday...
Monsoonal moisture will remain high across the area through
Saturday, with scattered to numerous showers and storms with
wetting rainfall. Heavy rainfall rates may lead to localized flash
flooding, particularly over burn scars and the eastern Colorado
plains. Humidity readings will be relatively high with
temperatures averaging a few degrees below normal.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday night through Wednesday...
Moisture will remain above normal through Sunday with scattered to
numerous shower and storm coverage. Additional wetting rainfall
will be likely, along with above normal humidity readings. A
warming trend will begin on Monday and hold through Tuesday, then
temperatures should fall back a few degrees with a little higher
chance of storms by Wednesday. No elevated fire weather
conditions are anticipated throughout the entire period.
